Our Core Purpose:
Thriving Healthy Communities
Our purpose at STAT Recruitment is to help communities all over Australia and New Zealand have access to healthcare, whether it be metro or rural. This isn’t only a core purpose outside our organisation but within also. Making sure our staff are well supported and cared for in the workplace with health insurance for their physical health and EAP for mental health. We see our community thriving with an average tenure of 7 years in the company with some staff tenure over 24 years!
Our Story
Established by Miriam Martin in 1999. We grew from a desperate shortage of quality doctors to fulfil rosters when permanent staff were not available when health providers still needed to provide vital and important services. A doctor and locum herself she recognised this need in the market and her experience could help bridge the gap in the Australian and New Zealand markets and she started with a rural and remote areas focus.
With proven experience and the on-going challenge of health providers trying to recruit and retain staff in the rural areas, STAT Recruitment was able to flourish and provide an important role in the health sector.
Starting with what she knew Miriam put her efforts into the placement of locum doctors into medical roles.
Brand Promise: Bringing Health Together
With the idea that you need to treat your staff with the same service as your clients, STAT Recruitment set about creating a thriving work environment for employees which is moulded into the fantastic relationships and service both our locums and health providers have come to enjoy and rely on when working with STAT Recruitment. We promise to bring the right doctors for the right roles helping the health sector fill gaps while also helping doctors follow their own career goals whether it be taking on extra shifts for experience and income or taking shorter locums for work / life balance.
